Floodsie is a flood insurance service operated by Cary Greg McMahon Insurance (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information submitted through floodsie.com.

When you submit a quote request we collect:
- Your name and contact information (email address and phone number)
- Property address and characteristics (building type, year built, foundation type, square footage, and other details needed to obtain a flood insurance quote)
- Coverage preferences and any existing insurance information you provide
- Whether you consent to receive text messages
- Technical data automatically collected when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited
- UTM parameters from advertising links you may have clicked to reach our site
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Prepare and deliver flood insurance quotes
- Contact you regarding your quote request by phone, email, or text message (if you have opted in)
- Comply with insurance regulatory requirements
- Improve our website and services
4. Text message (SMS) communications
Consent — new quote requests. We send text messages to individuals who have opted in by checking the SMS consent box on the quote form at floodsie.com. Submitting the form without checking that box does not constitute consent to receive text messages.
Existing policyholders. We may also send transactional SMS communications to existing policyholders via prosurant.com related to their policy renewal — for example, renewal reminders, renewal status updates, and agent follow-up. These messages are informational only and contain no promotional or upsell content. Policyholders may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Purpose and frequency. Text messages relate to your flood insurance quote or policy — for example, a confirmation that your request was received, a follow-up from your agent, or a renewal reminder. Message frequency varies based on the status of your quote or policy and your interactions with us.
Message and data rates. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to text messages you send or receive.
How to opt out. You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After opting out you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. To re-subscribe, reply START.

No third-party sharing for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent status with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Insurance carriers. To obtain flood insurance quotes on your behalf, we share relevant property and contact information with NFIP Write-Your-Own carriers and private flood insurance companies.
- Service providers. We use third-party services to send email and text messages, process form submissions, and analyze website traffic. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to service your quote request, to comply with applicable insurance recordkeeping requirements, and for reasonable business purposes such as responding to future inquiries. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at the address below, subject to any legal or regulatory retention obligations.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site. These tools may set cookies and collect information about your device and browsing activity in accordance with Google’s privacy policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the information you provide, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on systems that store your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
